JIMAR Resources Corporation was founded in 1993 by Jim and Mary Ruth Perkins. Jim saw an opportunity to take his 30 years of land experience with both large and mid-size companies along with the contacts made during his tenure as AAPL President to form an independent land services company. During the first year their son, Matthew Perkins, joined the company and staffed an office in Denver, CO. Shortly thereafter, a cadre of experienced Landmen joined the team; Keith Michael, Jerry Rupp, Bob and Jan Schuh, Jack Walker. Several of these landmen are still a vital part of JIMAR. Today, JIMAR has offices in Dallas and Houston, Texas with a core group of innovative, dedicated and knowledgeable landmen. The company has grown from a two man operation to one which, in addition to leasing, abstracting and title curative, has become a leader in acquisition and sales due diligence. In the past decade, JIMAR has completed due diligence on assets for numerous clients ranging in value from a few million to over 4 billion dollars. Leading and growing the company into the future will be the role of Steven D. Yeager, Justin Z. Neeley and John A. Hunt.
